Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah. Everytime I hear it on the radio I get excited, even though I have it on about 5 CDs - theres something about it that makes me listen. It has the best guitar playing Ive heard in my opinion and great words(provided by the great Mr. Cohen) and is beauitifully sung. Perfect I reckon. The next song on the album "Lover, You Should've Come Over" is just as good for me too.

I dont quite get your meaning on the Doors playing "at" you, and I never really liked the Grateful Dead, too much mesing around (but I love singing "Truckin'" in the shower") but the Doors are one of my favourite bands. And I have to disagree with what you said about them not communicating with the audience, Jim Morrison had sex with most of them.
