Hi everyone. I'm working on boom chick fingerpicking and I really feel like I'm getting somewhere now and I'm loving these tutorials!! I'm now able to play the melody while keeping my thumb going on the alternating bass notes, but I'm just wondering if anyone has tips on how to keep the bass notes muted while letting the upper strings ring out clearly while playing the melody. I'm getting a lot of buzzing, etc. Or is this just something I'll have to figure out on my own as I get better? Thanks!
