Hey, my name is crodrig, I'm 25 and live in Loudoun, Virginia. I'm really excited to be part of this program!

I've had a huge place in my heart for Rock and Metal since the age of 12, and have grown to love the music over the years, through good times, bad times, and the indifferent.

This lead to me wanting to not only play music from some of my favorite bands (My Chemical Romance, Chevelle, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold, etc) but also to work towards a goal and develop a skill I can be proud of. Something that took a lot of dedication, time, and hard work to acheive.

Learning to play the guitar is THAT thing for me. I feel like I need a new hobby, something of an outlet for me that makes me feel accomplished. So why not learn to play?[br][br]My new years resolution is to learn to play at least one song that is near and dear to my heart, and be able to look back and say to myself, "You did it."

But enough of that mushy sentimental stuff.

I'm ready to GET STARTED and I hope you all are too. Let's all learn together, support each other, and have fun with this. I'm super excited to get started :D
