I'm with you John of MT. I'd like to give my WhatsApp contact details to a select couple of other members, but don't want to post that or other private info publically here where everything internet is archived forever in a Google search world.

Forget the birthday reminder silliness, likes and other churlish Farcebook wannabe flim flam, but private messaging as a [u]basic prerequisite[/u] in the Guitar Tricks forum is [u]long overdue[/u].

There's not a freeware forum app out there which doesn't have it as a inherent BASIC feature.

February 2017's response, "We are working on it at the fastest pace we can" lacks credibility in October 2019 by observation.
