But yeah, you dont want to use an electric amp, because it sounds too shallow and "Yikes!" sounding, but i've played on an Acoustasonic Pro (costs almost a grand, that amp does) and found it to be really nice. check it out at your local guitar shop, sometime.

check out the Fender Acoustasonic amps, those are pretty good. Of course, you could just mike it if you ever gig, but hey nice choice for an acoustic guitar, i myself own a Guild acoustic (DC-1) i chose it because of the cutaway and i liked the sound.
