Welcome to the GT community. Good thing you're a persistent guy because that quality comes in handy when picking up a new skill. I would definitely learn to get comfortable with the spider legs warm-up it doesn't have to be perfect but you definitly want to be comfortbale. You should also make that apart of your routined excerice, and feel free to move on because you can always revisit a lesson if you feel the need to.
