Have been on Guitar Tricks for about a month now. Just a little background, I have always been musically inclined. I played trumped in the high school band and got to be pretty good. I love to listen to music and have always been fascinated with the guitar. I really wanted to pick it up in my mid 40's but was working, raising a family and traveling a lot so I never got around to it. I'm 71 now and was talking to my wife about playing. Being retire, I have pleanty of time for practice. As we talked I began to wonder, if I had started when I first thought about it, how good would I be after 25 years? Then I said I don't want to be 80 and say "what if"? So, here I am.

From time to time I hope to make other posts about progress and problems.

All comments are welcome and trust me, you won't hurt my feelings. At 71, I'm like a duck. Things just roll off my back.
