Well it seems like that pedal is picking up AC hum from the power supply, you might want to go to BOSS's website and see if the have any tech support, I don't really know if this is typical of the CH-1, hum isn't the typical complaint with chorus pedals, see what BOSS says about it, sorry Joey...........
