I cant say for sure, I own a few Boss pedals and they're very well constructed, but it sounds almost like an earthing problem, usually humming is caused by things like that, also pickups are responsible, singlecoils hum like b**tards, and the effect can be enhanced by the more things you put in front of your signal chain....
