monkey mind swings from tree to tree, and chases it's tail. A thought I learned from a tai chi teacher. All these same questions without end, justifications/non-justifications, catagories and genres...monkey mind. I had a dream, I bypassed it all and played for the love of guitar. So I put notes aside, songs and everything else.

Someone asked me at a gig I was playing last night if I could play a certain hungarian classical peice, this person is a well known artist. I replied " first I request that you paint for me exactly that building across the street,..and I mean exactly and now". The artist refused saying how she didn't like to be told what to paint, and anyways realism wasn't her skill. I smiled at her, turned, and continued to play whatever I felt like.
