I am glad to see that I am not the only 50 something picking up the guitar. Have been using youtube to find what I want which has been fine so far. But predictably have quickly leveled off and really not learning much beyond those tunes. Hope guitartricks and the core learning delivers better results. I have found out strumming is harder then it looks as there seems to be a "up" stoke involved ZZSmilieZZ I have an acoustic that I have borrowed and went out and bought a small vox amp and cord guitar ( didn't tell the wife about that till for a while). I am not sure how I felt when I saw Homer on the Simpsons go out and buy a bass to start jamming with the the other mid life crisis men the same week I bought home my guitar! Liking what I am seeing on the site.
