and i'm not speeding it up on the computer, because numerous people have said so. what you hear is what you get. 53 notes in a second. if people don't think it's humanly possible, than i must not be human. lol
do u think it's fast enough for me to go for a record.

I just don't understand the technique... It wasn't clear. Try to be clearer. WHat does 'try to play all the notes at once' mean. You don't play them at once...

Well, it sounds impressive... but I still have my doubts :) Not about you speeding up the whole thing, but about you playing 53 notes. Yes it's fast, faster than anything I heard you've got my compliments on that. BUT, do you play them all 53 ? I've tried to slow it down but it seems more like a blur... 'tho I don't think you play all 53 notes. I think you skip a few too :) Anyway, it's worth a try for the recordbook, but first try to figure out a way to count all the notes manually (like speeding it down untill you can count the notes...)

I just don't get the technique. Your tab is pretty much like mine, and I just don't get how you can increase your speed... I think we're living an hoax folks.

i agree that it does sound a little confusing...i am going to pick a different lick and record a new sound file and edit my trick to be better understood. maybe then you will understand.
thank you for the input

Okay, 53nps, when you go that fast, are you picking every note? I can go 20 or so notes per second just freely shredding, and thats picking every note, so I just wanted to know, are you picking every note?

no, i'm not. i pick the first note on every string and roll my fingers as fast as possible on the rest of the string. that is why i call the technique rolling. imagine your fingers as one rolling figure, so that one note is played before the last ends. try not to imagine your fingeres as 4 different things. and if you didn't visit my trick yet, than do so, it's in the jazz section

I understand your technique and I can see how it makes it possible to play faster, but scince I cant hear the notes clearly, I'm going to try your style out for myself.

thank you!!!

someone understands. it isn't that hard to grasp. it's just a new way of playing licks, and with a lot of practice, it definitely makes it possible to play faster. by the way, no matter what you do, it will always sound blurry and sloppy because the human ear can only pick up sounds so quickly, by the time one note is picked up and processed, the next has already been played, so even if it is played cleanly, it will sound blurry.

i took my trick off and i still plan on putting it back up sometime. i think i will slow down, and play around 48 notes per second instead of 53, that way it will be a little clearer.
