Hi,

I'm in the process of buying a digitech rp500 but read also that a multi-effect processers like the rp500 would have issues with modelling amps. Is that true?

I have a Roland Cube 20gx. It only provides me an input channel , one recording out and a Foot SW connection.

So, I would assume that I would connect the guitar with the RP500 and the RP500 then with my amp.

How do I make sure that my amp doesn't "change" the sound? Sorry for my stupid question but I'm just a beginner
