Okay first of all you're in the Key of A minor.

I can pick that opening chord in downstrokes but cant keep it up for long at that speed. I find it just as effective to do alternate picking and not get tired.

I find it comfortable to use the little finger for the stretch although I can do it with my ring finger.

I've never listened to Twisted sister before, apart from that song of theirs thats in 'Road Trip'......had a spare few minutes so I downloaded that song to help you.......aint I sweet? :D
