50 years old . Been fascinated with guitar since I was 11 or 12 . Got a guitar when I was 12 . Took lessons for 1 year . I could make G , C , D , E , Am , A and b7 . Didn't know what you did with that , but I could make and play them. Anyway once or twice a year I'd play at . Fast forward to about 3 years ago I stumbled across cigar box guitars and their history. I was reading how old blues artist learned to play guitar on these 1 and 3 string home made instruments. Well I called BS . I built one and that turned into building and selling 150 😳 in the process I actually started learning music theory on these little instruments . Scales , chord structure and progression started making sense . Still , I could not play guitar 😕 . I stumbled across this site two weeks ago . Going to give it a shot and see what happens .
