I can only assume you're referring to the Kiss song lesson that was recently posted. Some of the best bands/guitarist in music preferred to play a half step down...Slash, Eddie Van Halen, etc. It's a bit more melodic and singers find them easier to sing.

I'm assuming that your complaint is that you don't like re-tuning to learn a song and that GT should transpose. They probably could, but it's not as easy as you think. First, when they produce the full play along video, they're using a backing track with the vocals and other instruments. They have to play to the same tuning as the backing track.

When I practice, I like to play along with the recording. If the song was recorded a half step down...there's really no way to transpose....especially if you're playing a solo. Just tune down or keep another guitar tuned a half step down all the time like I do.

Lastly, you're not renewing because of that? Seriously?
