Thank you so much for your replies. Lisa, that's exactly what happened, the lessons just clicked with the previous bits of knowledge and muscle memory hints I had. The magic L lessons were the icing on the cake, that's where it all made sense. Loved Fundamentals 2. I still do a run of the scale practice songs each time.

Started Blues one again, this time like you said, I am flying through it. Lessons I like the best so far are the ones with the different chord voicings and the blues feels.
