I signed up for a two week trial 12 days ago (though a couple of days ago i signed up for an annual subscription). I've started at the begining have gone through every lesson in Fundamentals part 1 and am 80% the way through part 2. I can't wait to start the next level which will be rock part 1.

I played a lot of classical guitar when I was younger until my mid twenties. I wanted to be a rock god and did have electric guitars in my collection but kept going back to the classical guitar as thats what i knew. Anyway I've not touched a guitar in ~25 years so have started at the begining with the hope of getting the hang of the electric.

Anyway, Lisa has been great. My fingers very quickly remembered what they needed to do and Lisa has helped me with the theory. As a classical player the plectrum and strumming was always a bit hit and miss and even that is coming on.

Thanks to everyone....now if you could put a few more 80's rock songs on i'll be able regain my youth. :-)

p.s. picking up my new electric tomorrow as the only electric i had in the house was an old black Yamaha strat copy that I bought in Dixons in the sale as it had bash in the side and that was 30 years ago....action is awful on the high strings, buzzing away like mad. But i sold everything decent i owned many many years ago.

So if the next set of lessons as as good I'll be very happy - GuitarTricks don't let me down.
