Hey Stu, welcome! I have only been a member since late May of this year. I come from a guitar family but never put in the time or effort to learn, I was on the trial but, after seeing how great and easy it was to learn I joined full access for one year. For me, , I felt like if I made that investment and commitment up front it would be one more factor for me to motivate myself to show up, practice and learn every day. due to my busy schedule I never could commit to formal lessons, but, for the cost of about what four or five private lessons might cost I have already learned so much more, I am able to look at and view any type of playing whenever I want to so, I can have a goal as to what I want to learn or what style I may have a goal towards! it has been awesome. of course I am still a beginner but, my family is quite impressed with how far I have come in such a short amount of time. I log in every day to this sight, I often review past lessons, even lessons that are often beyond my ability just to see what I could become! That is motivation enough for me. like they say surround yourself with like minded people. Here they are always available. I do not know about you, but if I have a question there is never enough successful guitar people around my town to just pop in on and ask. But here, I usually will find the answer.
