For the lesson I used a Line 6 Pod-XT with a Marshall '68 Super Lead amp patch. I set the gain up full, bass to just under halfway, and mids/highs up to around 3/4. I added a Tube Screamer overdrive for the lead guitar, with level and tone both set to 3/4. I played a Gibson Les Paul guitar using the bridge pickup.
