That was definitely some impressive playing...as usual!!

Your phrasing followed the mood of the backing track...you played faster and with more attitude when the mood of the backing track picked up...and back down when the mood dropped. I see you also switched pickups to get a more biting tone.

The only thing I think that could have done differently was to use a more mellow tone for the slower parts. In addition to the neck pickup, I think less distortion would have been better. I think it would have added to the emotional impact of the more intense part.

It's a personal choice...just something to consider in the future.

Also, please don't get discouraged by the comments. Haghj500 has given me feedback on my playing that has helped. You have great skill and talent...don't let any criticism, constructive or otherwise, deter you from playing!!

Also, Axe2 is spot on...don't worry too much about trying to sound like another player. It's actually pretty liberating when you let go of that.
