As I have said before, your skill and speed is impressive. It is obvious you have spent many hours perfecting your skills. I have a problem connecting with what you play as a lead. It is almost as if you move around the neck playing these things you have perfected and somehow some part of “you” is not making it into what hits the listener.
Do you ever turn on some music, grab your guitar and close your eyes and just play? Do not think about what your hands are doing, just let it come out.
When you posted a couple weeks ago about playing lead and replying in different conversations I thought cool, he is starting to get into that more.
Put something on you have never heard before and make it up as you go. It wound not take you more than a few notes before you knew the key.
