I'm Jim, 52, and live in the shadow of The Great Smoky Mountain National Park. I picked up my first guitar back in September 2014. The first song I learned to play was Silent Lucidity by Queensryche. At present I'm having a love affair with the acoustic steel 6 string guitar!. My main "work it out" guitar is a Johnson Player 610. My "I can play that" guitar is a Fender T-bucket 400 CE. My current guitar goal I'm working on is learning the main solo from Layla Unplugged by Clapton. I've got the first solo and the rest of the song down but that main solo is a real bugger! My learning resources I use almost daily are: Justin Guitar, You tube and now Guitar tricks.
