Well, The red rocker (Sammy Hagar) once said that what was important in a lick is the starting note and the last one. It's my approach too. I'm a sloppy player, I can play real fast (in another thread, people put me at the same level as Gilbert and Buckethead) but it's never quite clean, and I like it, it's my blues side that's taking over...
