I just bought one of these the other day. It arrived and none of the lights worked or the effects controls. Only thing you could do is plug in your guitar and use the tone and volume controls. I sent it back and got a deal on a Fender Mustang III v.2 instead.

There were only two reasons I could come up with why those lights and controls wouldn't work:

#1) A connection came loose
#2) Bad quality control

None of two options made me feel good about purchasing that amp model again.

I understand at least the Fender Mustang III is fixed in the v.2 version. I already own the Mustang 1 so I know a little about what to expect and always liked the Mustang 1.

Anyone else have trouble with the VYPYR VIP 3 or that series?
