My neighbor is the one I'm currently playing with, but I met another drummer at Guitar Center. I'm sure there are probably some websites or forums to find local musicians, but I haven't looked into that yet. But I'd rather be back in California. I like the music scene there and know a few more musicians.

I know New York has a killer music scene as well. But you're right about the blues, it seems like the most natural thing for most people to play when first jamming together. If I ever end up doing anything I would like to either play soft rock (like Chili Peppers, Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead type stuff) or metal.

Anyway you'll probably end up loving this site. I know I do. The most valuable thing to me is that you can ask the instructors questions and they'll usually get back to you within a day or two. Good luck!
