I am a new guitar player at the age of 54. Don't think that matters much though since I don't plan to leave and give up guitar for a long while. I have a Ibenz acoustic, Squire Strat, and a fender mustang II amp. Pretty basic stuff. I like that this site start you off with the simple basics. God knows I still having trouble with the simple strumming and changing of simple one finger cords. That's O K because some of the other courses I have begun have you playing F major barre cords with in 5 lessons. So for all you beginners out there and some of you advanced plays pray I get this two handed and rhythm thing down
