I use Tortex 1 mm picks. They're the light blue ones with the turtle picture on them. They're not too thin to play fast single note lines, and they're not too thick to strum with. They're the standard shape (iso. triangle w/ rounded tip). I never did like those equilateral triangle shaped ones like lalimacefolle, and I could never strum well with the pointy ones.

I play mainly instrumental hard rock, but I also play soft rock/pop (like When A Man Loves a Woman), jazz (like Misty), country (like Travis picking Amazing Grace), blues (standard 12 bar), metal (lots of power chords!), and funk (I suck at funk since I'm just a white guy, but I try).
