Well you've kind of hit the nail on the head, the DR Reissue , like the Bassman Reissue, use printed circuit boards,instead of point to point wiring, and the voltages are probaly a little different, most folks think the new amps sound harsh compared to the old ones, and I'm not going to get into the PCB vs PTP discussion, but I say if you want to make a Reissue, then make it like the original, don't screw around with it, but I respect a man who has made $800, flipping burgers for the clown, so I would say my best advice to anyone amp shopping is this, find as many amps as possible in your price range that fit your bill as far as features,wattage, speakers etc, and play them all and buy the one that sounds the best to you, regardless of brand name, vintage, etc, etc, no one knows better than you, trust your ears
