You might want to try a Carvin MTS 3212 212 combo. You can get a new one for $700. It has alot more power than the Deluxe, and it also has a few modern features like, a foot switch for channel and reverb switching, fx loop, line out, bias switch tube selection(choose 5881,EL34, or 6L6GCs) and wattage selection 50/100 watts. It also has two channels, clean and dirty. The clean channel is supurb. I own the head version of this amp and it's a great tube amp. The only down side to Carvin's is, unless your close to one of their outlet stores or know somebody that owns one, you're buying them without trying it on first. All the stores are in CA.
