I can relate. Similar story here, but we haven't given up on this beautiful instrument. I can say mine has given me countless hours of enjoyment over the many years of twanging and banging. So what if I can't get up in front of a crowd and entertain? I didn't buy it for anyone but me and I absolutely love the time I spend with my guitars. Yes I have 3 now. That said, I think we are in the right place finally (Guitar Tricks). This is the best site Ive seen online by far. There's something for everyone, Guitar styles and levels. A sense of accomplishment and goals to achieve. Hang in there and go at your own pace. Just continue loving that guitar and you'll never regret the time you spend with it. Good Luck
