I love music - all kinds! I have been playing around with an acoustic off and on over 20 years. My skills, as a result, have not grown much. I would really like to stick with it this time. I want to get a Fender stratocaster ax in the near future. My goal is to be ready to play something relatively awesome in time for the church talent show in October. I would really like to blow the wigs back on the youth in our congregation. That would be so sweet! LOL! Last year, our pastor's wife did it with a hip-hop, pop and lock it, street-style dance routine! No, not twerking: Good stuff - like MJ without the crotch grabbing. She's in her mid-30's. She was incredible! Everyone was impressed. I think my radical rock or funk solo will kill 'em. I truly look my age in all aspects (but I am young at heart) so they won't see it coming. LOL! So, this is my motivation to increase my skills.
