I am not sure why you keep breaking strings. But for me i found that the heaver Gage strings i would use broke more easily than the lighter gage strings. That was especially true when i bought a new guitar and started bending practices i broke the G string and high E string every time, until i went to a lighter string. I must mention that is my experience only. This my not be true for everyone.
