Hi everyone, I recently joined Guitar Tricks. I know nothing about the guitar, however I have always been interested in it. I have been taking lessons on this site and have learned a lot. I am following Chris Sleigel (Spelling ??), and find that he teaches perfectly for my speed.

I do have a question. I have been following along the lesson plan with Chris and at times find myself becoming frustrated because I can't get my left hand to get the right strings up and down the fret board. I thought I might find a favorite song on the song list and try and learn a song to break up the frustration. Is this a good idea or not? Any help is appreciated.
