Everyone knows the magnitude of 70's rock. I was there and so were many of it's evangelists. I'm glad to appreciate it and put it behind me at the same time. I listen to lot's of modern rock and the only thing I have against it is the natural barrier of youth versus aged. This difference in attitude is a minor distraction, the music coming out today is very good. If I listen to either modern, 70's, 80's or whatever for too long, I feel trapped in eras instead of freely roaming about our vast musical landscape.
