i saw Zep in '72 at the Coliseum in Portland, Oregon and was right up against the stage for $5. The next year I paid $10 for 300 level tickets at The Kingdome in Seattle because they had become too big for Portland. I sold the tickets and didn't go because after being 10 feet away from them as they played why would I want to drive to Seattle to watch them on a giant screen. The best time to see most of the groups were in '70 and '71 when they were just getting big but not too big. Besides Zep one of the best shows was Alvin Lee and Ten Years After. Man could he play. RIP Alvin.
