From another post you made, I gather you are considering your first guitar. What kind of music do you want to play?

Getting into a guitar you need to change and replace parts right off the bat may not be the best idea. You're probably talking about $150 worth of new pick ups. Don't know what your ESP costs (nor do I have anything against them), but you might want to keep it simple to get started until you're sure a serious investment will be worth it in the long run. Just my opinion. :)
