This really came out of left field since I wasn't really looking to buy an ESP. This is available used for $600, which I think is a very good price. It is in impeccable condition too.

However, this guitar has a reputation for being hard rock,metallica type of guitar,while I want to learn the blues. Even so, right now I'm a total beginner so rock,metallica, blues etc is still far from my horizon.

Would this be a good choice?
