I just came across this very talented guitarist, and the first thing I noticed was that she seemed to be using predominantly three finger chords ( that pinky does get a bit of work but may be just 5% of the work).

I'm a total newbie to string instruments, but this has me intrigued. Are these what is called Power Chords?
