Well I'm fortunate enough to work in quite a musical based area so after work I checked out what the local music store had to play with.
Dude in there recommended I choose a guitar with soft strings to start me off, but really advised that I pick a guitar I was happy with.
I saw the Gretch "sunburst" electric guitar and pretty much haven't put it down since I asked for a trial. Bought a stand, case and cable as it was payday, ^_^ and strode of into the sunset.
