Welcome George!

I called San Antonio home for 35 years before making my way to the banana belt of Montana. Still have my taste for Earl Campbell's Hot Links but they're increasingly hard to find up here. Don't have azaleas or Tyler roses either but Montana stole my heart away from Texas none the less. But I digress... :D

The site below is top notch and offers all kinds of great instruction...I often use it as a fine, free supplement to our unbeatable GT. The finger stretch exercise at the link is outstanding. It builds flexibility, strength, and stretch and can be a superb way to practice and imprint proper fret finger technique. I spend about 20 minutes a day on it, six days a week.

"It takes a lot of devotion and work, or maybe I should say play, because if you love it, that's what it amounts to. I haven't found any shortcuts, and I've been looking for a long time."
