I would highly recommend a nice Fender amp. I've played Fender Vintage and the new stuff and I love em...I play blues, rock, country, jazz...etc, and Fender's never let me down.

I would look for something used as well. I got a good 1978 Fender Pro Reverb for 500 bucks at a used place...look for good used dealers.
