I Just had a similar problem with my Fender. I do a lot of bends when I Jam and had worn the frets down.
I took it into the local Gutair ER and had the Frets
re-crowned. It was a pretty simple procedure and didn't cost
very much. (Aprox $40.00) Hope this helps.
