When I turned 15, I´ve got my first electric guitar, an Epiphone Les Paul and now I´m 19 and a half, and playd on Epiphone since then.
But now my frets are almost gone on some places and I´ve been thinking about changing them (frets).

But The Big Problem is should I really change them our should I buy new guitar. I would really like to own an Ibanez RG-model and I can buy it, I´ve got money but there´s somthing else. I had Ibanez for a few days and I simply couldn´t palm mute it at all like I do on my Epiphone. Epiphone really feels great to me but I would really like one Ibanez.

So can anyone tell me if I can change to an Ibanez from an Epiphone and be comfortable on it after few weeks. Last thing I wanna do is to go to the music shop and return it back after a month and get half of my money back. I really liked the Ibanez but what I didn´t like at all was my muting and muting is basicly the only reason why I´m not a owner of an Ibanez. It just seemd like I didn´t get anywere after 4 days but how would it be after 4 weeks?
