Hello Sally and welcome to GuitarTricks! I am in the Fundamentals 2 course right now with Chris as the instructor and I am really enjoying this course and learning from him. He is a great musical instructor. Forget any age limitations. I am turning 52 next week and could care less. I will learn the instrument because that is what I want to do.
