Anyway, if it was me making the jam station, I would have used a different technology then flash. Probably some PHP webapp framework or something along those lines. Then it would be fully cross platform.

The jam station uses flash, and ipads don't support flash initially. Note that a mac and an ipad are two different things and jam station works perfectly on a mac computer (or windows or linux or even freeBSD). Just use Chrome which has a flash like engine inside it on computers and use Skyfire, Photon, iSwifter or Browse2Go browsers on ipad. Havn't tried the jam station on ipad, but those browser offer limited flash support, so I would give them a try.
