Do you keep your fingernails short, or are they grown out a bit? I can't get that kind of tone on my steel string. I'm used to playing classical/flamenco on a nylon string with long nails. Going to a steel string now since I have to keep my nails short for bass guitar and I'm disappointed in the tone.
