I started playing about 35 years aoi however, I stopped when I went into the service and I am looking to get back into it. I am looking to purchase a new AMP. There are some may out there now, I need some suggestions. I am looking at a small 40 watt Egniter Tweaker combo amp, I believe it is called. SOmeone at Guitar center said its a much better AMo than a small Marshall solid state i was looking at for 500.00.
The Egniter is all tube and seems to have a few effects. I am looking to play some material like Santana, to 80s etc. Does anyone have any experience with these AMPS or suggestions/comments. I would love to hear any instructors views or other guitarest for that matter. ( one thing about the AMP, I just dont like the look or the name on it) LOL. But it is the sound that matters.
