I notice there's quite of use of "[octave chords]"

like in "Song 2" by blur for example:
The entire verse riff is nothing but chords composed of octaves.

Is there a name for that... beyond "octave chords"..?

I thought maybe they'd be "Double Stop Octaves; or Octave Double Stops"...
but they're not even 2 pitches from a chord.
They're just root plus octave (root + 8? is that what the formula would be written as?)

I was just curious because I'm making a chart of all chord formulas; and I was wondering what to call it; as compared to "Major" "minor;" "augmented;" etc
