get a metronome and set the speed to about 80 or so, count in 16ths (1234,1234,1234,1234) for every four beats and play the above at that tempo, make sure to play clean and crisp notes without distortion. every week or so increase the tempo by about 10-15 bpm, so that you are allways pushing yourself.
